hi mate, which parts would be useful too you? is their anything there which stands out as unique? i really thought most of it was already out there in one form or another
Considering Project Velocity was an EA game, Id say either you got the original Xbox from which some of the games were dumped, which I dont believe were all together in the first place, or, most likely, someone just took all the publically released by myself and friends (other than Velocity), and put them on a debug box to make more money. Sorry
nothing to be sorry for mate, i bought the xbox from ebay a couple of years ago because i wanted a debug box for my collection, it never actually stated that any games were on it so i was suprised when i loaded it up and saw them, i knew most of them were out but never seen mob wars mentioned before but cant remember everything i have read online so just wanted to make sure, wasnt expecting to be sitting on the holy grail in digital form
What is mob wars if you don't mind me asking and was project vertex never "publically" released? just trying to stay caught up on all of this since I missed the seeding on enclave =/
the only mob wars that i know was the godfather mob wars for psp, maybe it was a early name for mob enforcer, which xbox version is called chicago enforcer.
Mob Wars should be an early build of Made Man / Interview with a Made Man. Ive seen a few different builds of it, which is why Id wager that the box you have may be the box that the stuff was originally released from. Not 100% certain that it got a release, but I think I still have a version of it, and I know the people who released the other games had it, so its likely one and the same. Project Velocity is on the web. Edit: Based on the size, is Mob Wars a really early engine test? I know there is a more complete debug build out there as well, but id wager that is larger.
Yep, the one I helped release, which is exactly what that should be. I believe Mob Wars is similar, I dont have a debug xbox to confirm anymore though. Still have files somewhere.
I still had the release Borman, heres a link if OP would like to compare to what he has - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=EOKU94NN
Project Velocity Debug (1.13 GB) That's funny, this game was made by EA. It came from an acclaim kit, but I posted this to the forums, like.. 4 years ago? Hilarious! Here's the original thread http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15090&highlight=gamerfreak1727
I agree with Borman though I don't believe mob wars or any version of interview with a made man got released obviously everything else is out there
I'm quite sure that was just an sandbox test app that was used to test the new Turok engine which was intended to be used in the next Turok. I actually have that.
yes thats what i remember this looked like when i loaded it up (remember its a while since i have looked at it), more of an engine test than anything else, definitely not a playable game as such i really cant think what Mob Wars looked like but im guessing its the same as its so small, more an engine test than anything else
