So I was looking through my trophies early on PS3 and saw that Destiny is listed for PS3, PS4, and PS Vita. I figured it was a bug on PS3 so I checked it on my PS4, my Vita, then the PlayStation app on iOS and it is listed for Vita on all four devices. Is Bungie planning a Vita release or is this a glitch like I'm assuming it is? Also can anyone else with the game in their Trophy Collection check to see if it appears for them too? I thought of that too but other games that support remote play do not show the PS Vita tag under their names.
When using Remote Play (or PS Now), Vita is only receiving streaming video from another device. That platform's trophies will pop. Vita native trophies wouldn't show up when doing that. It's most likely a glitch (there are other games that list trophies for platforms they never came out on), but it was only introduced with the most recent expansion's release. Sometimes it's an indication of a cancelled port (as was the case with Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus) and other times it's just a sign of carelessness.
