    Someone claims ot have a PSOne Debug, but we can not get pictures out of him. Until I See it, I'm sticking with the Grren and Blue as well.

    I've heard from a very reliable source that there is a debug PSone, and a PS2 that was used for debugging Playstation games.

    well personaly I think it would be pretty unnecessary (stupid) to create a debug PSone.. when there already exists debug psx systems. I mean it's not like they added some new features to the PSone (except that fact that it is smaller) so why would they need a new debug machine for PSone? or am I missing something? o_O

    I have a ps2 that is maded for psone debug, it doesn't work with dvds. It's Japanese and is a very early model 10000.

    When you guys say debug do you mean it literally connects to a PC or just "it can play CD-Rs without a modchip" for QA "debugging"?

    Also how could this PSOne debugger debug without a serial port?

    Good point. I think they meant it plays CD-Rs without a modchip, but you're right about the serial port. It doesn't make sense so I highly doubt one was made. (especially if Assembler doesn't have one or heard of it himself)

    Saturn multimod units... what is this exactly? Cross? Do you mean a CartDev?

    I saw a pre-production PSOne... but I don't think there was anything out of the ordinary about it, so it wouldn't have been a dev one. Is it big enough to have a SCSI port?!?!

    There are PSone debug units as well as PStwo test units. Both were made in low quantities, but do exist. You'll also find Platinum NR Readers if you look.

    Does anyone know if the TEST PS2 can play PAL games in NTSC automatically? I thought I read somewhere here that one of the models did. (I find hard to believe, but someone said it did)

    TEST output whatever the game is encode for. If it's pal and you want ntsc just patch the disc.
