Same reason ppl spend 500 bucks for effectively the Sonic SMS UPC sticker. on a game barely worth $2 complete without it. Not like I'm one to talk. I still have a bit of collectibles left.
Assembler's comment gave me a good early morning chuckle. If anyone is looking to build a HTPC you can get bluray/HDDVD/DVDRW combo drives for cheap from LG which will be all you will need for many years, an amazingly versatile bit of kit really. There are some examples of superior versions over Bluray, quite a glaring one is Equilibrium which has had rough treatment on Bluray thus far despite at least 2 versions released, unfortunately its Japanese only and fetches a pretty penny.
Laserdisc is not digital (the picture, at least). It's an analogue signal, sort of like a record player but using light instead of a physical needle... Someone asked and I found, After some tweaks and time I was able to find the HDdvd Emulator on my Xbox360 hdd. Im gonna find some documentation for it and software, Anyone interested in a (public)release?
I stand corrected. Some of those are actually movies I'd want to see, I figured it'd be a list of garbage. Can't believe Mallrats hasn't gotten a Blu-Ray release in the US yet.
I was under the impression this application was tied to your gamertag? But based on above msg; you can copy the app and use it on other non JTAGed units?
I hope not, I was able to get it by connecting the HDD to my PC. But maybe someone can explain how to find this posible "binding". I kinda rrod my jtag, have to put my older NAND backup back to check if it works on a Jtag (I asume it will). Easy thing is someone else with this emu will send it or makes a md5 and we check this against mine. The Extracted XEX files are enough maybe? 1 of 2 xex files: default.xex will make new thread if people want. Maybe 2012, 1 week of skool next year to fix my Jtag. (I has internet at my parrents home, so I check here again like every day.)
