    Well I played it SP back in the day. The Internet wasnt quite as available in my neighborhood.

    Yep, same here, although I found out eventually that I could play it online, even with the sub 28K line we had. Don't think it would've been much fun on a Gameboy, though, the Playstation version was pretty unplayable.

    I have terrible (in a good way) memories of playing that game 2 player with the Swedish dub on.

    I still remember how sad I kinda was when there was no console port of the 2nd game featuring 2 player single console multiplayer.
    (Though, magazines sure liked to say that Diablo 2 was on its way to the PS2 on their release lists)


    As for Diablo as a game on the GB, gameplay wise it could've worked perfectly fine. Dungeon crawling + portable gaming = Very very much in love, multiplayer or not.
