http://disgaea.jp/index.html Man, Nippon Ichi makes all these addicting Strategy gaming gems faster than you can say scat. 0_0 I think they sold their souls to the devil to make games at about 1 year intervals. The slightly demonic content in the games only exacerbates my point. All these great RPGs coming out for the PS2 nowadays makes me want to wait a while on the GP2X!

If you watch the whole thing, and have seen all of the Evangelion shows and films, you'll be surprised at how much they are borrowing from that Anime! All in all, this looks like it will be a very awesome game that should be bought by anyone that loves the original Disgaea.
Damn, i still have to finish the first one. I'm about 40 hours in, and every time i think the story is over, there's a new chapter. I've never liked stratagy rpg's, but this is one of the best games i've ever played. Nippon Ichi has become one of my favorite developers... unfortunately i still have half of their catalog in my backlog.
I thought Lapucelle tactics was the sequel, and Phantom Brave the third. No wait, those are the same thing but with different storylines. They are good games, but to me they have the same battle system, but different story line, like final fantasy series. Which is why I only bought Disgaea, and Lapucelle.
Plus, Phantom Brave was made before Diseaga I think, though released later in the US...i know one of them was like that anyway
I dont think Phantom Brave was made before Disgaea, its like this: Rhapsody La Pucelle Tactics (after Disgaea in US, but actually made before it in Japan.) Disgaea Phantom Brave Makai Kingdom Disgaea II (has all the Disgaea characters and a lot from the other series', too.)
Disgaea is a major time sinker while Phantom Brave isnt quite as much. I know some people on IGN maxed their timer on Disgaea at 999 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds. And I read this about a year ago!
