Acclaim were always cheap bastards. Their Saturn releases were also piss poorly made. All the instructions were in Black & White plus every game was still in English ! Nothing had been changed. Worms on the Japanese Saturn is also 100% English !! How the hell are Japanese going to play that without looking in the instruction book every 5 minutes.

its funny how they never bothered to translate the text for japan, as well i never quite understood how their japanese branch at all stood stable. From the sounds of it, the whole having genesis manuals included as well was probably for the asian market, but even then thats just damn plain lazy not to even bother translating the story at least, was the 64 releases they did in japan also like this?

  3. Yeah, there was an article in an EGM or Gamepro, or some other mag I read here years ago (before they all went to shit) telling the story, and the going rate then was $100+, but time has shown that it's not as rare as was once believed - apparently they circulated on the market for a while before the recall order was given, but the Sega Tetris wasn't as lucky.

Two copies on eBay now, both sitting pretty at <$1.

But they are (or at least some of them are) pretty rare now innit?
