As far as I know, AM2 doesn't exist anymore. Yu Suzuki left the company a while ago; he's working on Shenmue III now. Daytona USA 3 exists; I've seen a video of it. I'm not sure if it's been released yet; probably so.

The graphics look a bit outdated but its fast-paced and that's a major plus

Nope, but you can preorder. No idea if a release date has been announced somewhere; the last video, published a week ago, still doesn't mention a thing.

(btw, their YT channel might be of interest to some of you)

I wonder why they stopped. VF5 was popular, it sold well.

They should do a remake or port of Burning Rangers.
It honestly fills in a gap in the Fire fighting genre of games that currently isn't tapped into too much.
There's tons of police, doctor, and teacher games. I think a game of fighting fires with snazzy new graphics could really be cool.

I think VF6 hasn’t happened due to lack of interest. It wasn’t quite the smash hit vf4 was. Plus Yu Suzuki wasn’t involved with 5 so I don’t think that’s what’s stopping it from being made.

I always felt Burning Rangers should have been held back a few years and made into a Dreamcast game. It's...Not that good given the hardware limitations of the Saturn.

and there are 3 other Fire Fighting games, Ignition Factor and The two The Firemen games. ALL good.

5 is in Yakuza 6 so we'll see if this is dropping a hint or fanservice for long time VF fans.

I don’t think I’ve ever actually played it, but Brave Fire Fighters has always interested me. That ran on the Sega Hikaru arcade hardware. I’m a fan of that system in general.

Speaking of the Hikaru board, It's Criminal that Planet Harriers was never ported to anything.

The only reason Sega created the Hikaru board is because a stock NAOMI didn't have the power to handle the heavy transparency effects of Brave FireFighters, yet a (presumably downgraded) conversion to the Dreamcast was planned as part of a compilation to have been called the Real Life Career series along with Jambo! Safari and Emergency Call Ambulance.

So a bunch of idiots built a Console to propose to Sega.

Here's my official response to their chances of getting Sega's Attention.

There are sooooo many games I'd love to see return in the form of sequels- Astal, Clockwork Knight, Last Bronx, Burning Rangers, Deep Fear, Skies of Arcadia etc. But Sega right now is a mere shell of its former self and I don't believe they care enough about its past franchises to invest money into resurrecting any of them. They're playing it safe by continually offering us Sonic titles instead.

I need to pick Astal up. Apparently Sega didn't even give it a chance in the states and set it up to fail.

More collabs with Treasure would be nice

True, though there were other games released on the Hikaru, like Planet Harriers and Star Wars Racer Arcade - both of which are really good, I think. I've only played Planet Harriers once, several years ago. Star Wars Racer Arcade is much better than the pod racing game that was released on consoles and PC - it's too bad there was never a home port. The Hikaru had the same CPU as the DC, but it had 2 of them, like the Naomi 2.

Sega can't even re-release crazy taxi with the original soundtrack. That song by the Offspring was iconic of Crazy Taxi.

    Which one?

Way down the the is kind of depressing if you really listen to it.

Crazy Taxi 2 at least picked out some Offspring songs that fit the batshit Insanity.
