Does anyone have info and pics of prototype NES and Famicom hardware and accessories?

Having read an article on the Sega Pluto recently (http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?45489-The-Real-Sega-Pluto), I was curious whether any of the original Nintendo prototype hardware or accessories like a controller ever surfaced or had been sold,

I did read about the Nintendo AVS which was a prototype computer similar to Atari's line of computers.

 

The AVS was on display at Nintendo World for years. Sadly it isn't there anymore

 

Go to Nintendo in Seattle. They have a whole bunch of old hardware in the visitor center.

 

Fortunately, but unfortunately as well, I am no longer at DigiPen so I can't just waltz over there.

 

whatever happened to all the nintendo stuff assembler was talking about?
