I wasn't being sarcastic when I said there were servers with everything unlocked. Just play in one of those; everyone has everything unlocked. All guns, all attachments, all perks.
Ahh life was simpler back in the Battlefield 1942 days - a man was a man and there was none of this unlock and DLC crap. Improvements came with patches, not credit cards. I still didn't get around to buying Battlefield 3 yet but a buggy POS is to be expected for the first 6 weeks as has usually been the case for subsequent Battlefield releases. You can probably blame EA for forcing an unreasonable deadline but there is no doubt it will become playable in due course. Origin is still such a turn off though....
My apologies, I admit I'm not very experienced with online shooters. However, that doesn't change how I feel on the subject. Even if we were talking about online fighters, I'd still believe that everything should be unlocked so it remains fair to everyone. Of course there are exceptions, but I don't think online deathmatches are one of them. Also, I assume you are talking about servers when playing on a PC version? What about console gamers? Are there servers that unlock everything when playing on PSN/XBL? I only ask since it appears to me that most people nowadays play first-person shooters on consoles more than PCs. I could be wrong though.
grinding in an fps isn't a bad thing. It's bad when the higher weapons are completely unfair. If weapons are slightly unfair it's okay because you can still grind. When its the equivalent of wallhack it can be very difficult if 3 people on one team have that perk.
bf3 is alright up to the point my pc BSOD's like a fucking whore..... not like its underspeced of any thing x6 amd with crossfire 6950's and 16gb ram or any thing thanks ea for fucking shit up once again.
I really wasn't enjoying BF3 until I realized I could play hardcore mode like I did in BFBC2. Now I don't think it is as fun as the last one but it's vastly more fun than playing on "normal" mode.
Man, I was so hyped for this game. Now I don't think I'll ever pick it up. I've got MW3 and everyone on my friends list plays that.
I refuse to purchase BF3 due to the origin bullshit, so I haven't bothered looking into the gameplay. Now that I heard it's imbalanced shit, I guess I wont purchase it even if they remove the requirement for BF3. From what I've heard though, some scene group released a version of BF3 that doesn't require Origin for multiplayer, but it's for people who actually own the game.
Most No CD Cracks are created for the people who have issues with DRM, Securom had some issues a few years back with people who had 2xDVD Drive in there computer and those with daemontools installed. FEAR springs to mind.
