Dreamcast backup questions

Lol the ps3 and their private keys came to mind when you mentioned single point of failure.....just by the ps3 getting reversed the way it did it gave access to a lot of newer things for psp and ps2 due to the support in the system.

Back on topic it seems that sega has been decent at copy protection even with the saturn, just recently the saturn has been exploited via the vcd card slot and I guess if you want to count the pain in the ass to get optical disc drives.....the dreamcast and saturn are still very mysterious machine's
