    If you buy both kit and burner I will ship two separate packages. Comes with nothing except the kit. No software. They all tested by power on.

    Wow I didn't know the lasers have such a problem! Only one kit works! Lucky I tested them. It's not the Katana kit either. So 1 Dev kit for sale.

    Three GD-writers left.

    HD's not checked sorry.

    Wow, really? Are you sure the ones that appear to have problems aren't just in emulation mode? If it is the laser, they appear to use the same assembly as the retail units (the units, typically found in "SD" Dreamcasts, with the purple gromet), so it should be a relatively easy fix if they are the same.

    And wow again to not testing the hard drives. There's bound to be something good on one of them. :D

    Is the one in the middle a 5.24 kit or earlier?

    You have to connect the Set to an SCsi card and install The Dreamcast Dev Kit R9,R10 or R11

    Then go to Gdworkshop and enable GD-Rom Mode 5read the PDFs included)

    And you can recover the HDD with usual tools like easy recovery or GetDataBack

    99% sure they work. Sell them fast as is or recover them and ask for more... I don't see why people are being so picky.

    I guess this is all on hold until I find a SCSI card because that manual switch mode isn't working. I'm not even really sure I'm doing it right as those instructions don't make a lot of sense. "Under the fan"? There is nothing under the fan. What does the cable look like, ribbon or wire? :shrug:

    Also some very bad news about the Katana. I snapped off a resistor ir something, so it's toast. Looks like a skilled soldier could get it workig but as of now it is officially broken. :crying::banghead:

    Sorry for all the trouble and PM's that aren't being answered.
