NesterDCSE NES Emulater for the DC
So alot of people dont Know that these even exist but they do. They are hard to find and im confortable saying its the rarest model of the DC console. These were included in the kiosk at hollywood video and at multiple game stores around the country back when the DC was in its prime unfortunatly when the DC took a nose dive alot of the kiosk and consoles were trashed (THX CORPORATE AMERICA!!) the ones that did survive dont show up that often and usally find there way to collectors hands...... The Kiosk Units inside resemble the REV 0 version of the Dreamcast console... anyways Hope ya learned something lol ........also i know Emulating is a touchy subject with some people but for those who dont mind it GIVE NESTER DCSE FOR THE DREAMCAST A TRY its perfect emulation if you dont believe me try it i stand 100% behind it its amazing!!!!!!!!!

Damn that's one nice looking kiosk. I had no idea the power sockets were different on any Dreamcasts though!

That's just a Japanese DC with Us Bios. I can't see the big fuss. May as well use a normal US DC.

They are by far not the rarest DC ever or in the top ten. I have two myself and the true Kiosk models did not have modems but just a shell where the modem was supposed to go. There is a kiosk modem housing on ebay right now if interested in making it a 100% kiosk unit.

Besides the divers unit maybe but what other DC unit or you referring to thats as hard to find ?
surely the production run on these were lowere than actual consumer models.......

No it doesnt transform into a decepticon ..... what makes it special is the fact that its the actual kiosk model that came in the kiosk

I found the forum learning more about my HKT-3010, the HK (or is it greater Asia in general?) model. It lacks a modem. I don't know if it was first-release or not.

Nice find on the Kiosk unit!

FYI: There are 2 different dummy units, one is all plastic and was used with the kiosk. The other is part metal and is a bus terminator, these are found on JP launch units and on the prerelease rentals.

That is a Japanese modem on there.

Hey, that's cool that you got this. I just did the same thing myself (and my Kiosk DC just arrived last week). I've had the kiosk for years, but never even realized there was a specific kiosk DC to go with it (and, of course, mine had a retail unit in it...). I had to have a complete, true kiosk setup and managed to do it... :)

Nice seeing these units come back together.
