Hi guys, i have Sega Dreamcast but CD-Rom dos not work and i can't loading any games and i read in forum about SD mod (SD adapter) so can i play games from SD-mod without CD-Rom ? If this is possible please help me i want load games without CD-Rom. regards
If you have a completely dead gdrom drive then the SD card adapter won't help. The problem is that the machine can't boot from it normally and so you still need a CD to start the machine up - although it only needs to read a small amount of data so the drive can be really bad; just not completely dead. The other option is to replace the DC bios with a dreamshell bootrom - this way you don't need the CD but in my experienc the compatability is not that great.
