I just returned from a vacation and hooked up the Hanzo for the first time. The result is staggering. If you want scanlines for the Dreamcast the Hanzo box is the solution. I own a FrameMeister mini as well and the scanlines of the Hanzo are on par with the FrameMeister. Kudos to Beharius for his excellent work.

Quick question, I already have a VGA Box for my DC, I assume it will work just fine if i was to get the Scanliner? Having some good old fashioned Scanlines be nice on my DC.

 

Yeah, Scanliner is compatible with other VGA boxes too.

Just wanted to say I got mine today lovely little gadget thanks for this amazing item.

 

Oh and one more thing i recommend you try playing the new recent xRick port with the scanline feature it makes you feel like your playing on a old rusty CRT screen. I chose thin scanlines and Odd lines gave it the dark feature which looks great with old games like it. For more information on xRick look at the video below no it doesn't have scanlines but i know after watching the video you would die to see the scanline feature with it.

Damn, got a letter from the custom office today. Mine is stucked there. For your infoermation, Beharius: They wrote, you could prevent this if you put a bill on the outside (in a plastic sheet or something). Well, I have to drive there tomorrow to get it. Hope the duty won't be too much.

I was wondering if there was a VGA compatible bootdisk, since a couple of my backups aren't self boots, and Utopia seemingly doesn't work with VGA. Does anyone know?

 

AFAIK, there is a VGA fixed Utopia... or you can do it too...
