Dreamcast VGA box & Scanline generator

I hope that it''s not too late for me to jump on the waiting list for this.! Seeing the box in action made me want to get it ASAP!

Just got my scanliner cable. Thanks. But I have to see, to change the scanliner cable and the cable for DC I have to oben the enclosure every time . Maybe with one the next Versions of the Hanzo you can make to inputs. One for DC, one for other console. Or, maybe easier and better, a new scanliner cable, which goes from VGA female to DC-multiport female. Don't know if this is possible and you can get female DC-multiport-connectors.

 

Actually it's been in the cards for a while. However I have some concerns. I am considering them.
I already designed the new PCBs, I will soon order them along with other projects(Kenzei & Shyntek).
No need for a VGA(hd15) connector, serial DB9 is enough for Hanzo, I don't want it to be used on other devices.

When we first built them, it's not intended to be used as a standalone Scanline Generator, grace a Smoke Monster, he ordered that Scanliner cable to try it in his system, and the result was successful, so we begin to offer it. Indeed it's cannibalized my Scanliner sales, every 1 out of 3 orders included that cable. That makes us happy if people are satisfied with our products.

No need for excuses, I followed this thread and did see the scanliner cable wasn't planned at the beginning. And I thought it was a great oppertunity to one more scanliner box. I just didn't realise I had to oben the enclosure for changing the cables. And I had the Idee another cable would maybe a better idea. And as far as I see you are a person who listens to the customers. On this way the scanliner cable was born. So I just told you my idea. Your products are awesome and you do a great job. Keep it up. And keep us informed if there may be a cable DC-female to VGA.
