Dreamcast VGA box & Scanline generator

I designed the Kenzei PCB, doing some final touches only, adjustments. I will order the PCBs after the Xmas. So I can start to collect Kenzei preorders next week. So there won't be any Hanzo or Kenzeis for a month probably. Grab it while it's still available...

I also designed another product called SHYNTEK. It's a Sync Separator + Scanliner combined. I tested it on my Atomiswave and it rocked! It can accept both 15Khz and 31Khz inputs. No Scart inputs on the board, but a special pigtail Scart cable can be plugged additionally. Same plexi enclosure as Hanzo.


When you order 1 month later, you need to wait around 30-40 orders in the queue. It will take some time to be in "In Stock Now" status again.

 

I am stoked for the Kenzei, I'll be stalking this thread to see once the pre-orders open!

Im a little confused thou, if the Hanzo has built in scanlines what is the scanliner cable for?

 

for other consoles with VGA output or PCs. Basically Hanzo becomes a standalone Scanline Generator(like T-SLG, SLG3000 MINI SLG, etc.) with that cable. If you just want to play with your DC no need to use it...

@Beharius - your idea of adding a small VGA cable to your generator is brilliant. Can't wait to see the scanlines on my games!

 

Maybe I am miss understanding you, Beharius, but are those the last 13 units of the Hanzo that will ever be created?

 

these are the last ones of my stock. there may not be any for at least 1 month after they end. I am out of PCB and parts...

I am currently concentrating on the new products, Kenzei, Shyntek and a not yet named one which will be a hit also, a new to the market product! I have some other secret projects in testing too. But first I have to launch a website and start to collect orders from there (beharbros.com)...
