Dreamcast VGA box & Scanline generator

Always wondered, are your vga boxes in any way (other then scanlines which I don't need) better then the Hais or Naki vga boxes (which both look really good imo)

 

It's good that it should work with VGA, but if it doesn't support 15khz RGB as well its kind of pointless. I own a few of the games that do not work with VGA, and in those cases I'd like to easily be able to switch back to 15khz RGB without swapping connections. Just flicking the switch on the Hanzo would be great, but only if that Audio Authority adapter works with both modes.

I'd only consider selling the JS converter if I can find a better solution

 

Not sure on the AA. Some games work with the VGA trick too, but still there are incompatible ones. The switch is there for that reason, VGA trick.
Toro can output both vga and scart which can be used with these converters. The best would be GEFEN VGA -DVI or XRGB Mini which have 15khz compatibility.

I have never tested these VGA boxes, however our boxes are build to get the most out of your DC in terms of audio and video quality, and with those extra features that none of them have, they are simply the best. You should try the scanlines if you haven't yet or don't have a pro monitor or CRT. I strongly recommend it.

 

Alright. The Dreamcast is my go to console right now, even more so than usual because a friend has my WiiU.

I've got a regular VGA box hooked up to a Key Digital KD-VP800 to convert to Component right now. It looks good but I want the option to play House of the Dead 2 on an HDTV and I'm curious if the picture quality will be any better on a Hanzo.

The current VGA box doesn't work when hooked directly in to my TV's VGA input. I want a Hanzo either way, but if that box works on my TV that will be even better.

 

I would take one. I am in the usa. I want just the Hanzo VGA box.

Oh house of the dead is so fun. especially with the blaster gun. Just like the arcade. I think they released that on the nintendo wii. Made it super fun.

it supports VGA, 640x480 and 1024x768 resolution modes.
