Would Love a List of Codes or patches or even modded GDIs.... but also have them grouped like Games that FULLY support it and games that have clipping or graphical glitches... that way people who just want to enjoy it in its best format can... (for me 16x9 would be great if it had VERY minor glitches but 0 clipping)

So would it be possible to hexedit these values like PS2 & oXbox widescreen patches? I wasn't sure after reading this. Seems it maybe but hasn't been implemented yet. Would be nice for Dreamshell RC-3 so long as I don't need to downsample my GD-ROM's and they work for DS. Wouldn't even mind hacking a few for 900mb 100min CDR's I have laying around.

Wow nice codes man! I don't suppose you could try looking into doing Half-Life since it doesn't run on NullDC? I am not sure about with Demul but I believe it can run some WinCE games like 4X4 Evo.

I've tried Half life with no luck so far, PSO ver2 i another one I can't find the address, I've found a bunch of addresses that can change a lot of camera variables but not the ones in charge of the aspect ratio. Ecco the Dolphin is pain the ass too xD, I really want this game in 16x9 but I've wasted soo much time looking into it. T_T

Also, I'd like to point an important thing, there are addresses that will only work on real hardware, not on emulators, Confidential Mission, 18 Wheeler, Grandia II and Spawn, won't work in 16x9 on emulators, the value will almost immediately go back to its initial state, that's not the case on the Dreamcast.

Funny enough though, Sega Rally 2 (usa) does exactly the opposite.

Ah well thanks for the detailed reply. Those sure would be some of the best games to play in widescreen.

Yes thanks for the details on PSO. Any of the online titles in 16:9 would be great. Great work and thanks for looking into this as much as you have

That's because the codebreaker is "freezing" the value by re-applying it every frame. You'd have the same effect in emulator if cheat engine could freeze at the same time each frame. (It doesn't really work that well.) I ran into a game that did that and decided to look at a different one instead. :-\

For Sega Rally 2, your problem might be because it's a Windows CE game. Those will probably need an Enable code, if you haven't already tried one.

Regarding Sega Rally 2, it might be a nice feature to also incorporate the 60fps cheat code (Up, A, Down, Down, Left, Right, B, B, Down) into the mix, making the ultimate Sega Rally build.

The ultimate Sega Rally 2 version is the japanese one. It's got 60fps by default and one extra, exclusive, car - the Ford Escort WRC.
Some other cars have the original, arcade, paintjobs. And, iirc, some cars have, selectable, alternative models.

You know I was just looking into that last week actually. I was seeing Japanese versions for only $5 and $3 shipping on eBay! I really should have picked it up. How Kanji heavy is the game do you know? Does it have an English option?

Interesting, I did not know that. When playing the PAL-E or NTSC-U version with the 60fps code certain effects and ambiance gets disabled, like the water / mud on the car and the flying helicopter. Are these still present in the Japanese version?
