DS Fat prototype

I don't know if many of you still love their very first DS fat (I do), but for sure you remember the first prototypes shown at E3.
Years passed, and finally here are a bunch of new pictures...

I still have mine and it still works like new. This thing is the Nokia 3310 of handheld game consoles.

 

I still have mine as well, though I can't exactly say it works like new. Many years ago, someone (it wasn't me, but I'm not naming any names) decided it would be a good idea to throw my DS. The hinge broke so it wouldn't snap open or closed anymore and the top screen took on a slight red tint, but other than that it was unscathed. If anything, this vouches for how indestructible the Nintendo DS is given how far it was thrown, and that it came out of that in one piece, sustaining only minor damage.

 

I posted video of the prototype working months ago, so it isn't exactly years.

 

man oh man... Shit.... This is on my 'holy grail list I want to own' and now it's going viral and more and more people are chasing it .. I`m a HUGE fan of the phat DS systems. it's more comfortable in your hands then the Lite/i I own around 10+ of them .. but this one.. oh man I`d give a kidney for it.

Your proto was actually released shortly arfter the one pictured in first post. The black "border" was added a bit after.
