ive been looking for pics of the internals of the external psu DTL-H1100 ps1 debug unit and havent found anything yet.. if someone could post highly detailed pics of the mainboard, psu connector, and controller ports, that would be amazing.
There is nothing unusual about the main board - it's just a PU-8 (one of the earlier ones with VRAM) but with a debug mechacon. The controller ports are blue, but otherwise identical to the ones you would find in a SCPH1000/3000/5000/1001/1002. The only non-standard part is the DC-DC converter board that goes in place of the PSU. Edit: Sorry, I put the wrong sort of memory down - the old ones have VRAM, the later ones SGRAM. The DTL-H1100 uses the VRAM based GPU.
From memory the board is pretty empty with just a handful of components. The next time I am near mine then I'll try to find time to open one up and take a picture.
