Duke nukem forever betas

does anyone have any beta copy’s of duke nukem forever would be fun to play them how they progressed over the years.

 

This is one I'd like to see as well. While the final release did have some stuff whenever you completed the game I'd like to get my hands on or see more.

 

So far, none are in the public's hands. They still exist, which is more than can be said about some games.

 

What I'd expect to see is probably one or several games that looks very different from the final game. I remember the first pictures and it looks nothing like the final product. Besides, didn't they change graphics engine several times?

Yup, the first images were quake 1 mockups, the first proper version was in quake 2 engine shown in E3 1998, by late 1998-beginning 1999 they changed to the Unreal Engine 1 where they remained to the end (yes, the final DNF is based on UE1).

 

Absolutely, why not? Well, as long as it doesn't break any rules or anything like that. I'd enjoy it.

I recall sometime back there was a thread on betaarchive of someone dropping source code to this game, only for the link to be removed fast and the thread dead.
Does anyone else remember something like this?

way too recent to be interesting then, imho. Now, the quake2- or early unreal engine builds, those would be a feast.

 

One of the console versions (Either the 360 or the ps3 version) Leaked just over a month before the game was meant to come out, But it either is the exact same build or is too late in development to have any noticeable differences.

Edit: There Were several alleged plot leaks, One going all the way back to 2009. However, I Have no idea how legit these may be.
