Being a 3DRealms forum regular since the days of BUILD (ah bless), there's been 'release date' topics. (Online retailers have been doing this for years). They end up with Joe locking the topic with the quote..

 

Was reading a PDF article about Prey from PC-Gamer dvd and the article was from like 98-99 or something so would expect to see DNF. I expect DNF isn't a game that needs to come out as soon as possible and that the game is 100% how they want it to be so they can show somethings thats had a lot of work on it
