What ISO did you use? Hopefully an official one..... Let me see if I can find some of mine and upload with a link for you to fix all this.
From this thread mate http://www.xbox360iso.com/xbox360-xdk-20675-t344997.html?t=344997&highlight=recovery+flash http://www.jheberg.net/captcha/9eU1xg-21119-10xenonrecovery-by-eufo-rar Its bumming me out...... It doesnt f* the console up, all it takes is a reboot, no crash and its back to normal, just tried my fixed one again with HDD attatched, and same problem. Yeah I appreciate all the input, would be nice just to get it over and done with. If I cant get it fixed after your new links, I think I'll just give it a rest mate, one step forward, two steps back haha
Okay. I found a few recovery iso discs (official). Let me upload them and once they've completed, I will link you through PM.
Much appreciated, I would give you some more rep mate, but it says I have to spread it around before I can give to you again.
Lol, Eh, no worries. Still loading right now. Will be 21173.1 to get you iso recovered and then you should, hopefully, use remote recovery after that.
older recoverys wont work on the xbox, because it may not have the corona bootloader. the only thing i can think of is use hvxos with a latest xell file to dump/flash the nand because it has corona support.
Ah not good news, so basically I just boot HvXBootOS (remove the hdd and usb files?) and replace the xell.bin with which xell file? (As in 1f / 2f etc.) And leave the BootOS.bin as is? Sorry never used xell :s Also, reckon it should work as in that thread it was stated HvXBootOS only works on the lower recoveries? Thanks
try the 1f, if not use 2f. some corona 4gb retails dont display xell sometimes. so it may work but wont show on screen.
Tried all of them, no luck, and just get kicked back to xshell dont suppose the debug foler with the stage2.elf and the root file called stage2.elf32 from the xell folder need to be placed in the HvXBootOS folder? Dont want to mess anything up and I assume they are used for JTAG /RGHs?
Exactly what I have mate, still no luck. I've currently gone down to 21119.0 from a remote, still no luck.
Reporting back that not even when .iso recovered does it want to accept 20353 I think all hope is lost. Thanks anyway everyone for all the help, but I think this is a definite sign to stop triyng haha. EDIT: Not sure but because its an engineering sample, is it actually 3GB and must have a weird NAND? Do 4GBs actually show 4GB? I've personally never seen one, so I assumed the 1GB was for system stuff.
I'll need to check my Corona when I get home. I think it does use just under 1gb for system stuff, but don't quote me on that. I will get back to the thread once I am back around my kit.
My retail says 3.0gb for max storage, so it must have a gig for system reserve, even tho the actual nand system data is 64mb.
Mine shows 2.9GB. Under mine I have 60KB for system cache, dated back from launch on 11/22/05. No idea why, but yeah I think 3GB is the standard.
