Yeah, it's not an exclusive. That motion sensor thing is pretty amazing... I'll be very surprised if it is as interactive as the demo though. Especially that video chat thing with the chicks. Really futuristic. Sony are supposed to be revealing something similar. If it was one of their big annoucements it will be pretty amusing. Hmmm, the more I watch, the more exaggerated the player movements seem to be. I wonder how sensitive the tracking is and how accurate the thing will be. Early days, I guess. The Mylo thing is creepy. Very creepy.
Epic. Time for Lucas to retire. Bioware should take over and redo 1-3.. make it like this: http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/01/this-is-the-star-wars-the-old-republic-trailer-youre-looking-f/
My predictions for today: - PSP Go! announcement (no, really :dance. - Kojima-san will make another appearance to tell us about the new MGS games for PSP/PS3. - Little Big Planet for the PSP. - Hopefully the video rental service will get a European date. - Someone's going to spend ages blathering on about Home and all the additions to it. I think the PS3 slim will be saved for the Tokyo Game Show. I really hope Sony do have a little more than this to show us following M$'s pwnage yesterday. As for Nintendo, I don't have any predictions as I couldn't care less. You know we're not going to get any real details on the new Mario game, just a few little glimpses here and there. Edit - OK, let's at least liven things up a bit. I reckon that we will see the 'PS3mote' motion sensing peripheral demonstrated.
I'm one of those yet to buy any next generation system, so it's interesting to see if there's anything that will justify the financial investment. I sold my DS a while back and have absolutely no interest in motion sensing technology, touch screens or other gimmicks. Is there anything really left for someone who just wants to sit in front of a screen with a pad in their hands anymore? Now that Microsoft has jumped on the bandwagon with Sony believed to be following closely after, I can only hope Sega will one day make a "proper" comeback console built around old-school arcade ports and only the most basic of control add-ons. As for the Sony conference, it would be foolish not to feature the new model PS3 in some form now its existence is common knowledge. This also goes for the PSP Go! as well, and I'm sure the time is right for the unveiling of Little Big Planet in its handheld guise if the planned release window is correct. I can't wait to see how this one turns out, as it's the only game that may convince me to finally pick up a PSP now that WipEout Pure is no longer exclusive. Finally, Ubisoft has announced a collaboration with Tetsuya Mizuguchi on an as-yet-unspecified platform that is currently known only by its codename of Project Eden, which suggests we could be looking at a sequel, remake or evolution of Rez considering this was also a working title for that game. I can only dream... P.S. Kojima to produce a new Castlevania? I pray this isn't true as Konami doesn't need another classic franchise ruining with cutscene over-reliance!
I think we can honestly say that... "E3 is back biatch!" Didn't watched Ubisoft press conference, but heard that Pelé was there. Watching some bits of the Nintendo one now.
I sat up and watched Ubisoft. Slight technical hitch with the Pelé segment, but they handled it quite well. The guy presenting it was actually quite entertaining. I'm bored by Nintendo. The previous three keynotes have been a lot more entertaining. There's no cheering, or clapping or guests or anything.
Ahhh whats up with gamespot and the nintendo press conference streaming?? missed most of it till now and having to ise IGN which doesn't let me do fullscreen.
The Nintendo conference is so lame so far... I'm so considering selling my Wii, worthless piece of hardware... nothing coming interesting...
I take it none of you guys are interested in Style Savvy then? :Girl: She's just rattled on about the new Zelda for the DS and not a clap or a cheer to be heard.
The wii motion plus is quite good but to be honest not much more of interest to make me want to get a wii.
Try a justin.tv channel. ( http://justin.tv/ ) Not so good like yesterday (for me), but at least i'm being able to watch it. Thankfully, i'm not the one that thinks Nintendo press conference lame... They kept bragging about their sales...
Finally, a round of applause; Metroid: Other M. This is getting a bit more interesting now. Can't say I'm ecstatic about Galaxy 2 but The Conduit has had me interested since the beginning. Oh, that was it. Damn.
that nintendo press conference was mostly crappy and boring imo. too much casual stuff. I missed Golden Sun though, maybe this could have been interesting.
