I don't said one was better than the other. I just pointed out that Natal looks like a finished product, while PS motion controller is still being developed. I kinda agree with you guys, but for me, both seems great.
Ahh but the way i see it as becuase the main idea is no controller or anything there could be a whole possibility for peripherals. Its like the new tony hawks ride game where they were showing the skateboard peripheral but since natal doesn't require any extra controls in the first place there is no expense in having to make something with electronics and the like inside so it would be easy for companys to make replica (or not)bats, raquets, guns...etc for use with natal.
I agree, both are great. But I don't why I feel that Natal will be much more expensive. God of War 3 looks amazing, can't wait till March next year.
I wish I could agree with you but as much as I love Metroid....uggg. Poor Nintendo. I liked the digital only PSP until I saw the price.
anyone noticed how the new PSP has bluetooth? you can see the logo on the top right..but what's with the damn price?! with regard to your Metroid comments..it looks/feels like Super Metroid, and that's fine by me, it has that certain flashback effect in my mind =)
I heard a rumor that Nintendo is having another conference/convention sometime after E3.. presumably between now and the Leipzig Games Convention. Perhaps we'll here of more news-shattering announcements there.
Another dissappointing E3. Consoles are increasingly focusing on everything BUT games (Twitter, Facebook, etc.). Natal looks interesting, but I seriously have doubts about it working as shown. Facial and voice recognition is touchy at best as it is, but non-marker motion capture (especially with only two cameras so close together) simply is not accurate. Ubisoft is screwing over the Splinter Cell franchise by turning it into a run and gun, though the trailer could have just been tailored to the retailers who don't typically like anything but FPS. The third person Metroid was a welcome surprise, though I probably will have to skip it due to it being made by Team Ninja. They simply do NOT know how to properly balance a game for a normal person. Yes, people like challenges, but they also like to be able to finish the first level of a game they paid upwards of $60 for. Unless a radical shift takes place, I expect to see a lot of dissappointed players for this one. Final Fantasy XIV....online? Multiplayer NSMB? Are we simply not allowed to play single player games anymore?
on another note, Forza 3 tickled my senses but it will come down to the Wheel I use with it.. if it doesnt have a full H-shift box and 900degrees like the G25, I think I ll have to pass.
It's kinda hard to say Natal looks like a finished product when all it was was a PR video from the marketing department. I find it very difficult to think that the 360 can produce it's current graphics in games while at the same time processing complex commands such as facial recognition ect. All it is is a professionally demonstrated idea, at best. Playstation's looked worse because it was an honest representation of how far they were.. ie: not very lol. So of course it looked rough by comparison. Anywho, I honestly dont want either..not until they prove their place on those consoles with some great games that work well. For now, it's GT 5, God of War 3, and GT Portable on my top hit list. All those made me drool ray:
apparently, milo was being manipulated to some degree by a puppet-master behind the scenes, it wasn't all algorithm. That says a lot..
They showed on stage, with a girl playing one game and a guy using the paint app. The accessory was showed as well. Oh yeah. I'll hate Sony if they make GT Portable as downloadable-only though. Where?
Let's just say Natal worked JUST like it was shown. Sure.. great. Now tell me how to play a FPS without a controller. Sure I can aim, but how do I move my person or move my camera?
I understand what are you saying. Also forgot to mention that i just loved ModNation Racers. Anyway, some other games have been announced / had trailers appearing on websites, like PES 2010.
