Perfect Dark remaster was great! My only complaint was not being able to put human heads on alien bodies in combat simulator. It actually is possible for players, but not bots... for whatever reason. They did add the option to use the GoldenEye 007 guns in multiplayer, though, which was something the original should have had anyway.
I don't think the main presentations are for us. They are for the teen bro gamers. However they are entertaining in a cringe, what am I watching sort of way. Tokyo Game Show is where it's at for me. E3 I barely want any of the games shown. Tokyo Game Show comes around, I have to almost keep a checklist of all the games I want.
I probably won't watch any of the presentations. But the thing is there are still many MANY gamers who believe that E3 is the be all end all. So they dream of going. Me, I'd rather go to Magfest than E3. Or a good anime convention.
Perfect Dark was nothing without the Free Radical team. It's like making a Goldeneye 007 game without them, which was done twice and the Rouge Agent was considered mediocre at best. The later revisits of Goldeneye 007 just made it another CoD/Halo clone with no personality of its own. No surprise as Activision published them.
