E3 xbox 360 faceplate doesn't fit revised xbox

    I hope everyone who blew a bunch of cash on this now completely useless item didn'tpay too much.

    Well it was just meant as a freebie, so microsft don't care if people went crazy to get one...TBH, I think the E3 one looks tacky. Hell, teh entire 360 looks tacky, lol.

    At least they will still fit on the prototypes if anybody get hands on one of them.

    I can't believe people spent $300 on this!!! A piece of plastic, they should have take an insurance for this, a special policy for MS victims. I should have taken one when Windows 98 screw up and lost me one year of music work.

    They don't fit on the dev model, I guess the retail is slimmer?

    Id bet the dev model just isnt made to be taken apart to have faceplates on it.

    Perhaps this is a silly question - but is the E3 face plate not the same as the normal one? Anybody got a picture of the normal xbox 360?
