EA bought up Dice, say goodbye to "battlefield" series quality

I don't know, Euro Force is definitely the worst Battlefield 2 expansion yet(just 3 level add on, $10). Doesn't look like they really tried either. Still bugs in the pack.

 

Aside from the fact the Great Wall map chokes my poor 6600gt, the EF expansion is pretty good. Bugs suck, but BF2 is currently my game of choice so EA has me by the cajones for now. The only real downside with the SF and EF expansions is the fragmentation of the communities. With DC over BF1942 you could run either DC maps or 1942 maps. SF requires it's own server and EF will run along side standard BF2 maps. Of Course you will get dropped if you don't have EF.

Hopefully Desert Conflicts release will make it worthwhile.

 

i got a little bit of a split personality with bf2 i like the whole ambition of teambased warfare but the engine was just horrible

btw. next bf is a battlefield 2142 or so in the future with mechs and such stuff could be cool if they finally get their ass up and deliver a not so buggy version
