Sony Playstation1 Net Yaroze (boxed) UK

Net Yaroze, boxed in glory! Looks in splended condition for all you 'IT MUST BE NEW!' type collectors (never underestimate an OCD!)

Would be tempted myself if I didn't already own one:

Namco System 246 & Tekken 4 title (Canada)

Again, last week I spotted Namco System 246 & Tekken 4 in France, which I don't think sold, and this week exactly the same pops up in Canada.

It's BIN for $325.00 (£165.00) and looks much better than the only other System 246 available currently on UK eBay which doesn't include the I/O board and is much more expensive.

According to the auction, neither the hardware or software have been used or opened. :love2:

Would be nice if they could open the box and show you the controllers and other gubbins as it would be very easy to see if it was new or not...

I always wonder why people use a limited edition like that to play games :S .

I hope he didn't, I just messaged him to ask if it was used or new.

RichieCStar: Taking into account the condition of the polyethylene bags, I think it's used. Apart of that, the controller cable is not tied. And look at the bottom, to that mess of VMU, VGA Box... I would bid, but being conscious that's a second hand console surely.

Because of the very simple reason that the people who won these consoles aren´t collectors, and just want a console to play with and not to just look at it. ;-)

And because otherwise its just a very expensive box to look at. For me the joy would come out of playing it and seeing it under my TV, not looking at the box or occasionally looking at it through polythene!

I'm sorry but I never understand the idea of owning something and not using it, be it LE or whatever. Simply having something and tucking it away in a museum unopened would bore me. Part of the thrill of obtaining a rare or hard to obtain LE is seeing it up close, looking at the difference(s) and having a shot. That said, I tend to use a standard kit so that the LE's don't break.
