dammit. of course they turn up as soon as I go offline for a few days
though as I don't have the impossible-to-find PCI card, and it wasn't included I guess it wasn't that bad, but still >=/

Sega RF Unit MK-1632 sold as is. Starting bid is $0.99 or buy it for $2.99!

Question: Do you all think its safe to buy capture cards from eBay from China?

I find this one from this fellow with "decent" feedback for US $1.90 + US $8.85 S/H:

I think it sounds too good to be true. I wonder if it will work on my Windows Vista. I know it doesn't say so, but I hope it wouldn't be to much trouble to install something thats for 98SE/2000/XP on Vista.

I would buy from hong kong, not china. The chinese mainland uses
super cheap parts with no quality control. Hong Kong goods are
    usually much better quality.

    Xbox Live Beta Memory Card

Just thought I'd share this with you guys,

    Auction Link

The seller is trying to get $150 for only the card:banghead::lol:. If it sells for that price, I'll definitely sell my complete kit.

I just put up a set of Visual Studio 6.0 Professional (why do people still want this so badly?) and Visual Studio 2005 Standard disks (as a free bonus with two books) I found laying around. If anyone here ends up winning, just let me know and I'll load the flat rate box up with other goodies too.

Mairsil, did you get Visual Studio 2005 by attending Microsoft's online seminars?

I think that it came from one of those (which is why it is included as a free bonus instead of being sold directly). Never used it since I always had the Professional version of 2005. Which reminds me, I need to see if anyone still wants one of those XP launch lava lamps...

It at least looks better than many chinese stuff... it looks like was made in some decent factory, but will probably suck.

    By the way:

Shipping 1. We Ship to Worldwide, except Italy, Nigeria.

    O:?

Italy post, for overseas shippers,is known to SUCK.

I don't know why, i ship every week to Italy and everything is generally fine, (but i'm in France, which is the nearest country).
Many shipments from USA,Japan get lost/stolen there...unless they're sent EMS or that kinfd of insured/serious shipping, which is expensive generally.

Nigeria is for obvious reasons, but Italy is because of what Adol said and because Italy is cracking down on fake brands and they pretty much open up anything from china, and stuff tends to get stolen because of that.

As for that video capture card. You can barely see the logo on that chip. I'd be somewhat wary, but for the price, it's worth a try.

When buying overseas it is very hard for warranties to be honored, so be careful.

Only thing to expect from it is some interference when you hook up four cameras. It doesn't look like a namebrand component that retails for $80 but made with the same chip that one has.

THQ called, they wanted their Test Kit back. Seriously, the seller said he was contacted by THQ and they wanted him to send back the kit.
