best conversion i saw was a xbox made into a borg cube, along with internal lighting etc, looks amazing but sold for pittance when it was on ebay last year

Did anyone hear anything about the end of that UK PSP Test sale? Pulled from eBay I was contacted by a few people who I know made offers. Some later retracted and yet another decided to quit at $2000. From the only email the seller sent towards the end I got the impression that he was disappointed with that amount. I replied that I was surprised by the offers.

Just for the record, I don't personally think a PSP Test kit is worth $2000, especially considering the hassle trying to obtain firmware upgrades for such an old kit.

Could be wrong, but in talking to a few people who were putting in their opinions and offers it seems to have been deemed closer to $1200-1500 mark for future reference.

Others seem prepared to go higher, but was it really worth it?

From what I gather he paid roughly $1000/1200 but he actually just said ''yeah, roughly the same price as yours'' so interpret that as you will.
