Looks like it got bid up to over $3300 which is ridiculous, even though a zero feedback bidder won, what looks like a legit bidder went almost as high. This same unit was available for $1500 from this guy as of a week ago if the bidder had just done a little bit of research. Aren't there a ton of people here who have the same exact kits?

Little Big Planet - Promo disks

I was looking to get one of these as generally a bit cheaper and in my tiny mind ;-) more collecable

However just seen one appear on ebay and it says is not available to play on-line

Does anyone here have any more info on this as I would like to use on-line

This is a rare promo edition given to me by a member of Sony here in the UK
This is the complete game (Without Multi-player On-line) but more of a collectable to the high street version as there are always a limited number of promo's made

I'm not sure what "learn history" means, but as has been posted on this site a few times, the seller of this unit on Ebay was willing to sell it for $1500 as recently as a week ago, before the auction. It seems like a smart buyer could have saved $1800.

Its probably just a review copy that was handed out to reviewers before release without online play.

I guess they just didn't want to extend the paint job on the text so they left it out.
