The NPDP consoles you've linked to basically stole the images and description of the first one that was listed on ebay... not sure now much faith I'd put in them.

The photos are very similar, but if you look closely the serial number on the bottom of the consoles in the photos are different, and, one of them has two stickers on the bottom, the other only one. So they do seem to be unique photos.

Nope, I just found it while looking for Wondermegas. That was probably a pretty happy Buyer... ;)

The guy who bought it is a member of digital press. He posted it in the finds thread. Seems he didn't actually know how much it was really worth, just that he was getting a decent deal on a Japanese Xeye! He just happened to stumble upon it right after it was posted. Lucky bastard!

well, an Xeye will generally sell for $60-80 from what I have seen. I don't know quite the range for the JVC wondermega, but it at least goes for about the same or a bit more than an Xeye. The Sega Wondermega is the rarest and usually sells in the hundreds. There are probably better people than myself to pose this question to, but I answered it based on what I have seen them all sell for in the past.

A boxed Wondermega like that would probably sell in the $500 range. Getting it for $30 is, as we Americans say, "Good."

    Halcyon anyone?

EDIT: Apparently LD player only? I don't know much about this console/LD player...
