Out of curiosity, what would be a good price?

I've seen them go for ~$50 before now (I was looking for one myself for a while), but it's been some time since then. If they were actually good for playing games with then a reasonable price would be higher, but it's the same old clone crap so no reason to pay any serious money.

Anyone can say that it was used in anything, although I am sure that Tomb Raider was released before the 2700 was released (as all the ROMs and chip dates I have seen have had late 96 to mid 97 dates...) so maybe it was used in later games but still unless it has something from Tomb Raider / Core Design then any claims should be taken with a pinch of salt.

My 2k's came from Probe Entertainment. I can only hope they were used for Die Hard Trilogy or maybe Alien Trilogy, but yeah announcng a specifc title is a bold claim, especially when the numbers don't add up - though it is possible the BIOS was replaced at a later date as if they are not flashable, they are socketable I guess.

Wasn't that Marty set on Yahoo a week or two ago?
The seller had it up as junk. Obviously it wasn't.

I'd buy some myself but I don't and never will deal with EBay. To much pissing about dealing with western sellers. A shame because there are some great guys out there but far more arse holes selling shit as mint, doing charge backs and so on. Over 1000 deals on Yahoo Auctions and only ever once had a problem.

Welp, I don't have the money for any of that, but a friend over at Sega Retro is gonna try to pick up some of that stuff for research purposes. I'd love to get that Gam-Boy just for the sheer novelty of it though :p
