I have mailed him asking what kind of £ he wants as a buy it now...will keep u all posted

Well he has let me know what the reserve is.........same as a retail premium (£) + some

Checking on the bid history.....it gives an option bidding details...............some of the other bidders have had previous bidding histiory with the seller..................boosting bids?

He bought it as a faulty X-Box of ebay as the seller didn`t know what it was....he searched the old www....saw OLDENGINEERS site and put 2 & 2 together

Perhaps, more likely to have had him as a fave seller and been informed of his new items.

Yep, its a genuine console which you could BIN @ £120.

...As it is at the moment it looks like it will go for a lot less.

...Oh, and 'yes' the seller did contact me to find out what it was as he didnt have a clue.

I'm avoiding it as its been opened, I never touch stuff thats been opened.

    Someone here won it

BIN @ £120, was this the original auction the seller got it from as non-working?

Maybe this was the original price it was offered to Old Engineer for. The reserve was set at £250. Greed probably set in :icon_bigg

Just out of curiosity, what does that little grey box that comes with the unit do? (Before anyone asks, no I didn't bid). Presumably it's some kind on test connectivity kit from 360 to PC?

That might have been me DRussian, but I am a tad skint right now. Cost of unit is half the problem. I think the P&P will be higher in the end as it's a bloody hefty hunk. £20.00 doesn't seem right unless they are sending it crap post in a towel lol

The seller doesnt seem to know it`s worth and said he might be open to a BIN. I don`t know how common they are and how often they surface on ebay.

Sigh, fair enough. Not sure I can afford anything at the moment anyway but I've been looking to get one of these for a while. They pop up on ebay quite often and I'd rather have a 486 version. Good luck with it.

agreed, those are pretty nifty signs, but they aren't anything special to merit a price that high. You never know though, maybe someone has been dreaming of the day when they could own those signs ;)
