Thats a common trick to avoid relisting fees when you are out of stock. Rather than end it, jack the price up, then low it when you have restocked.

Why is new cheaper than used??? Buy new, rip wrapping off, sell as used for $50 profit.

Totally makes sense. The real Neo Geo collector does not buy anything below $10,000 because that's for poor losers. The buyer will probably tip him $2000 to get beyond 10k.

Oh BTW: 5000... wooooooo, gone the times of Jet Set Radio, welcome Dschinghis Khan!

I got a Madcatz original Xbox controller. Was broken when I got it despite listing saying it was working...

    Seller wasn't happy with feedback...

Still hard to know if this UK seller can be trusted or not, after his past debug PS1 (very) messy sales, it seems that it's now time to sell debug PS2 without receiving or leaving any feedback !

But maybe I'm just too suspicious ?...

Their new brand of Cyborg computer gaming accessories are much better than any other madcatz crap I have ever used in the past. I have the V.7 keyboard and it's awesome. In terms of controllers for any consoles though I have to agree that they suck huge newts.

This just happened to a buddy of mine. He bought 2 madcatz controllers for OG xbox and they were listed as working but neither of them would do anything once they arrived. Even the seller was amazed because he said he tested them before listing.

I have a Gamecube one. It is a funny story actually. My parents got me a NGC for Christmas along with a game. There were two problems, no memory card and only one controller. My father drove me to the store so we could buy these things. He picked out a cheep 2-pack Pelican 52 block each mem card (he thought it came with it since the PS2 came with one, so he bought it). Then with the money I had from relatives, I had to buy a controller for my sister. Being cheap, I picked up one on sale, then put it back because MadCatz was cheaper at regular price. My sister hated it and eventually also went to the store and bought the controller that was on sale. After several years, that controller broke beyond use. Even the original (official) controller gave which means the MadCatz controller (which I still own) outlasted every other controller.

EDIT: The main problem with it is the (A) button gets stuck at the worst possible times.

I'll second that. The triggers break just by looking at them, and the rubber grip on the analog stick turns to complete mush and falls off.

My Madcatz Xbox controller had the left trigger broken. Seems someone had tried to repair it with glue at some point and succeeded for a while. Go figure...
