n64 being sold as brand new and unused - comes with coloured controller instead of the grey one and further auction pictures show the vents are clogged full of dust.

Also isn't the Gamecube AV cable all black? The N64 genuine AV cable is grey?

Marketed as a famicom clone, (doesn't look like it even accepts any form of cardridge) and looks like a cheap chinese console. While the box says it's an educational computer.
That for 50 euro's!

 

The reason for the "educational computer" stuff is that in about 2000 the Chinese officially banned games consoles. So the people that were making them added keyboards and educational software and stopped calling them "games consoles". The ban was only officially lifted a few months ago, although it had been ignored for quite a long time before that.

In most cases, there is a cartridge socket on the keyboard - I would guess it's under that red flap at the top on that model.

One of the side effects of the relaxation of the ban is that those ones with keyboards are getting much harder to find, since they can just sell dedicated games machines without a keyboard now - back when they were common, the prices were typically 80-100 RMB (about 10-12 Euro), but they seem more expensive now (say 15-18 euro).

You can get the cheapest new famiclone for about 16 CNY (~ 2 Euro) - but the quality is just as horrible as you would expect.

 

So rare, more than 10 are available at that price too! Something is odd with that. I don't think the seller expects to sell any at that price. Probably something else fishy is going on.

 

This guy is trying to sell the much less desirable and cheaper NTSC CD32 which is used, for top dollar.

I agree, but if it goes for around that price, who cares? It appears to be in nice shape and even comes complete with the box. There are loose saturns in auction on ebay around that price...

What happens if someone buys it and can prove it's not a dev kit though?

 

The point is he is lying about the item, trying to increase the value.
