According to the website http://www.retro-soft.co.uk/kit.html :
I received a mail from the seller:
There will be some competition for this one...

I know that you're more into cars and software - those Toyota discs are really quite nice.
But i've 20 LE Dreamcast consoles here, enough for every Dreamcast fan to say "Whow!!!".

Yeah but your limited editions aren't all normal white dreamcasts with a yellow sticker on them  It's so easy to make your own set of Toyota Dreamcasts. All you do is peel off the sticker then scan it and reprint the sticker on to the exact same glossy sticky plastic that the original sticker was printed on. Yes, they do actually sell that stuff and the ink the new Epsons take will print on to it with no problems at all.

@Yakumo: At first you need a Toyota DC. Then a console with matching serial in the special box and also a Toyota browser GD. This stuff is so rare that i get a headache by even thinking to copy such a console!

Excuse me for being ignorant but those toyota discs are awsome and I was wondering if they would play in any old DC unit? Also are they hard to find or are they on ebay alot? And my final question is are there any for the Supra or Avalon (my car :)

They're hard to find on YJ, and are never seem to be on eBay. They will play on any stock JP DC. No idea whether they have ones for your car, there was a thread a while back when Yakumo got his disks, theres probably more info on them there

For sure. When I was a kid, I always wondered how you could play SNES when there wasn't a system in the hotel room. [IMG]

Oh good. Knowing someone else here is bidding on it will keep me from doing it. Really, I need to set something up so that every time I try to bid on something, it takes me to a webpage with my credit card bill. That would slow me down a LOT.

Just FYI, I've bought from the guy who's selling that before. He's good, but he's not kidding about the high shipping prices. I bought something like that from him and ended up paying more for the shipping than I did for the tiem ($150 shipping, which appears to be legit for something that weight shipping EMS).

Good to know, about EMS shipping yeah I know im gonna get murdered with it but its the only way I ship things from Japan. :)

Thankfully I havent gotten into debt yet, though I may have to sell my GDR spindle to help finance the shipping on this bad boy and his brother!

I know that feeling... At least if someone in the community gets it we might get to find out more about it and know it'll get taken care of properly.
