Those are the Playstation Festival 2000 disks someone was asking for in another thread. They asked me to find mine but I haven't had any luck. If you are still out there I'd bid on these. They look better than mine.

 

Just calculated the shipping for the two items from him, Gonna be $300.00 for shipping alone >_>. Not that I mind too much, as they seem to be quite rare and would be very nice to own.

Your right Turok was never a live game,and it would take a miracle to boot a game on your beta live xbox.And that Thrill Kill game looks like a bootleg to me.

 

Speaking of DS demos, I've been looking for a Mario Kart DS demo, if it doesn't cost a fortune. So if anyone comes across one, a heads up would be appreciated.

 

Odd that Mr. Paintball would be in here trying to sell those exact games (and even claiming that Turok was a beta live game) and then they suddendly show up on eBay with the same claim.

No it was not. This is an oft quoted, unsourced rumor that has zero basis in fact.

The seller, DM7 is a member here... he's been selling off these same discs for weeks now. He's sold at least 4 copies of the same "silvers" by my count at least. I'm curious how many copies he has... I wasn't going to say anything, but i don't like people putting false information in their auctions.

As for thrill kill, there have never been copies of this game stamped. It's not as if it were canceled anywhere near it's scheduled release date either... that's why the betas are both buggy as hell. As for the two versions, one is a legitimate leaked alpha, while the other was released by the developers out of spite. EA halted the production long before the game went gold.

I've personally seen 7 different versions floating out on the net, but they're all the same game with different music. The music files were missing from the original leaked version, and when the devs decided to leak the final copy, they didn't want to hurt the musicians, so they took out the music. It's pretty easy to add your own, so a lot of people did. On the other hand, there may be versions i'm not aware of... I don't spend much time digging around in warez ftp's.

 

I think thus far it has been more than four sets, but most of them were just four of the games. It looks like most, if not all, of his items are from Akklaim's UK studios, so I'd imagine that he probably has a nuimber of additional copies.

 

Some Jerkass who has been snapping up NES lots for no more than 20$ just outbid me on the NES box. I dont think he has any idea that its going to cost almost 2x the final price to ship...*sigh*

 

Well it is true that I have sold 5 or so of the 4 disc sets near the end of last year.
I've now included the "Turok" disc into the sets after receiving information it was a "BETA LIVE" version from a previous buyer.

If this information is not correct i'm happy to amend the description in the auction.
I have a solid Ebay reputation and don't want or need to make false claims in any of my auctions.

As for exactly how many of these silver discs I have, the answer is a shit load!

I have some of these disks from him DM7-DEMON ages ago, originally it was just for 4 but as I got loads of stuff he chucked in the completely blank one. :thumbsup:

I advised it was a copy of Turok only........after getting it to run an a "special" De Bug......my live has to be updated due to ISP change.........so can`t offer any help there :shrug:

 

I've always thought you were an honest seller, i'm pretty sure i've bought from you more than once. I just didn't want anyone to think that turok is a live game.

Side note, I almost nabbed a semi-broken Razr for $26 shipped BIN. 2 minutes too late. You can't touch broken ones for at least $75 normally. So sad.
