The Saturn CDR is a normal CDR, nothing special about it, no security rings or anything.

then what was the blank CD-R I saw mentioned on the old board having ring or something??? Was it different kind?

I've heard rumors of a different kind of Saturn CD-R's having the security ring, but not confirmed. That might also be the difference between the PS CD-Rs with one of them having the SCEx codes pressed already - small chance though, as I think the PS1 burner can put them there anyway...

but I'd sure chip in for the other lot! :smt045

Sounds good, thanks! I know Antipasta and Paulo were interested in the last sale, so I would assume they would want in on this one.

Are you on MSN? if so, pm me your address so we can speak privately about it all. Same for Nicola if you still want in.

It's a pirate. The game is a hacked version of Armadillo for Famicom. Nice Wideboy though!

Blank Saturn CD-R with ring? Perhaps it was a pre-production Saturn game or the Saturn system disc? Saturn CD-R's are like normal CD-R with the Sega & Sega Saturn logos etc.

thought Saturn doesn't run normal CD-R unless it has the security ring and think remember there was discussion of such ring on the blank media back then... I recall seeing some pictures as well... not sure it was on an old board or another forum though...

Hey Tachi, if you get those PS1 CD-R's could you save one for me?
Would love to have one, or maybe more than just one.

Any ideas on how much each would cost?
