Game looks total shite but how cool would that be - to own something that pretty much no one else on the planet has!

  4. ...Well if the game is shite how would you be cool???

I just think it would be cool to have something that rare. I suppose you could look at it on your shelf.....

I'd like it even if the game was total pants, but it's way too expensive anyway.

Off the wall, PC Engine prototype (Acording to some other boards, its the first time the proto has even been made available):

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8199691596

And from the same person whos selling the above, a 'Run Saber' SNES proto:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=4315&item=8199683908&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

btw, off topic but shouldn't their be a thread for proto/unreleased games found on ebay so that maybe more then two or three people from the boards would actualy notice them and thus making it that much more likly that the community would come together (like it has before) and get the game released for the community? Or maybe unreleased games could have their own threads instead of being crammed into this one that it seems fewer and fewer people are checking these days.

Eh, it's not that people don't notice them, it's that often those that put up proto boards seem to think they are worth insane amounts of money when they are not -- so no one bothers bidding.

Don't get me wrong, there are some protos that do trade for vast fortunes, but the majority simply aren't worth it. So when you get a collector who has one or two proto games and they toss it up on eBay for hundreds/thousands of dollars and expect a windfall just because it's a proto the auctions will often get very few, or zero, bids. Just becase a seller claims to own the "only copy" of something does NOT make it true. ;)

Nah, those boards are incredibly durable. I keep mine in a drawer. :)

But still, can you put it in an empty shell? I imagine so.

It looks like it would fit in an snes game shell. But unless you contact the seller for exact dimensions, your guess is as good as mine.

This game IS released in Europe on the online games compilation disc called 'Planet Ring'. This standalone disc is probally the E3 disc from 2000. Still interesting but not for that price!

its an auction from one of our board members, and he is trustworthy! Maybe the reason that the game never was released were those FF screens innit? ... or its an early version and they just used those images for placeholders....

    so yeah its real
