about the toys r us, they never replaced those slip cards. Every time I saw a game with empty slip cards, I would go to the back area (where you'd get the games) and say well, "insert name here" said that they didnt finish re-stocking the cards and to see if "certain game" was in the back just in case. 99% of the time said game was in the back waiting to be bought.

Reminds me of how Circuit City is these days (they never take anything out of the back)!!

I'd stay away if all he wants is moneyorder. He doesn't want a paper trail.

Ey, that would be good for me! :D I would freak out if I would always have to type a credit card info to a website.

At least it's better than those auctions that say, "Immediate payment is required!"

LIke I said it was last year he started to advertise that dev kit. His complete transaction was squirly. bad communication, not friendly. Since than he has advertised it looks like the same dev kit a few times. Just my own feeling but it told me to stay away.

I think we were all bidding against eachother lol

Edit - I won't bid on the AGB disc since you want it, but I need the Gamecube one, so please don't bid on that one :)

    Edit 2 - I got sniped with 3 seconds left :( Dammit

Heh, it seems that we all wanted the GBA kit (I hope that it's worth it). I only bid on it again because LeGIt stopped bidding. Sorry that you didn't get the GC SDK. I personally think that sniping should be banned, or it should automatically extend the auction time one minute.

All sniping means is that somebody else was willing to pay more money for the item than you were.

    *shrugs*

I've never lost an item to a sniper because I always bid what I'm willing to pay up front. If someone bids more, bully for them because I certainly wouldn't have paid what they did. If someone tries to "snipe" with 3 seconds to go but they bid less than my max, I still win and they don't have time to try and bid up.

If you get sniped it just means that you should have bid more in the first place. ;)

I will have to respectfully disagree here. :die

I have three problems with sniping. First, yes eBay uses a proxy bidding system, so you could bid what you are willing to pay. However, eBay also allows you to raise your bid in response to other bidders just like regular in-person auctions.

Second, I should not have to use a third-party system in order to bid on eBay. I barely trust myself with my login information, let alone some system that will bid on auctions when I'm not around.

Third, sniping websites are techinically illegal in some areas. In order to allow a third party company to place proxy bids, some states require that they be licensed and bonded. I'll admit that I haven't looked deeply into them, but I seriously doubt that most sniping websites are either.

I could keep going, but this is kind of off topic. Instead, I will provide you with an affordable item for your backyard from a reputable dealer:
