I have no idea what stuff like this is actually worth, but that starting bid on the "GameCube Prototype" seems really high. Is that a normal price for something like that?

It's not a Gamecube prototype at all though hehe, it's an Applied Microsystems Corporation Dolphin Development Hardware (AMC DDH) which was used to dev for GC ;) It's nice but seems a bit spendy IMO, especially without a controller or ODEM card.

yeah i guess its possible to get your hands on a DDH for less money, but that GangWriter is awesome!

Yeah, I not only have no idea what stuff is worth, but I really don't know what it IS, either. :) I figured the safest way for me to describe it would be just to write what the seller called it in quotes. But it's nice to know what it actually is, thanks!

would be interesting to know if the hdd modules are included and do contain hdds

  8. The DDH doesn't have, need or use a seperate ODEM card.

...I guess your thinking of the interface card that you need to communicate from a P.C > Dev Kit?

...The emulation is done internally not externally on the DDH :)

The real issue with DHH that's being sold on eBay is that it's a reallyyyyyyy old release that's not compatible with running anything useful :(

...And 'yes' to top that off it need's one of those old 3/4 speed controllers ;)

...All in all an expensive bit of kit.

  9. ...Without the corresponding WIF card the GW is a doorstop :(

what is that WIF card and what is it needed for? something important, seems to be, since it's useless without one..
