It's definitely a scam... considering he claims the kit as final hardware.

It's precisely the sort of item you could easily sneak out of an office! Tuck it all under a shirt and calmly stroll past security without a care in the world. Should we all just start ordering them from him? I would imagine that a master criminal of this magnitude may be able to supply a pile of them for $50 a piece lol

Ho hum, we can only dream....there is that niggling itch that tinkers with my logic and whispers 'but what if it's genuine and these other guys are throwing you off the scent!' - nah! Nobody would do that in order to obtain a piece of Dev Kit would they ;-) lol

<Read his 'Other auction items' they are just as interesting, including "I am 16, I need a truck but I have no money! Please Bid!"> He is looking ever more genuine and honest to me LOL

Did you look at his other auctions? Along with $1000+ 'mystery boxes', he's selling an ear of corn:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230020852977
In that auction he states he is 16 and will be needing a truck soon, so please on bid on my corn.

I wonder who's credit card he stole to sign up...

(In one of his 'mystery' auctions, he claims he's 'stood strong at 100% satisfaction' and doesn't want to change that... He has NO feedback! He must be copy/pasting these scam auctions as well...)

His in-tray should be bombarded with deeply technical queries. That'll keep him occupied and wading through the mire until he reaches roughly 18...the legal age to have an eBay account.

This guy/gal is just ripe for the scam baiter (www.thescambaiter.com)

They yanked all of his auctions and de-activated the sellers ID... I guess it was a little too obvious (even to Ebay) what he was doing...

Still, might have been worth winning one just to get his name/address...
