    And that's a problem, why?

    People on eBay ask for high starting bids all the time. Hell, folks in this thread often post something on eBay with a starting bid that's simply a sale price.

    Sometimes you get a sucker willing to pay the high price.
    Sometimes you don't.

    Either way, the auction stands out and gets noticed. It gets linked. People check it out. And then they check out his other auctions.

    i saw it on some ancient assembler.roarvgm or whatever page once i think yes. There was another one of these on ebay 2 weeks ago or something that went for a lot more than $400 if i remember correctly. Too bad it doesnt play retail or i would have gotten it i think.
