Oh, I was talking about the DDH, as I believe Oldengineer was as well...The guy has posted the same set three times now saying "last one".
But I've also noticed that no one seems to want to bid on the Alphas as well...this is the second or third auction he has posted with no bids.

Ah, okay! The listing may not be so well crafted, but again I am purely going on experience of this seller and making a comment regarding that aspect, not his selling techniques lol

Haven't seen one of those Jag kiosks in a looong time! It is a shame it is missing the screen, and also (but not mentioned) the most important part.....

    THE JAGUAR!!

A shame - IIRC these were set up in Rumbelows stores with AVP or Tempest 2000 and had some form of reset function, whereby the game would reset after something like 15 minutes of play.

Anyway, back to the purpose of the thread.....

I am selling a Meridian Digital Surround Processor. Great for high quality gaming audio!

MM was released here, but I do not think that it was licensed.

The N64 will overheat within about 10-20 minutes if you don't have proper cooling/heatsinking of the chips. I know, I tried this in making a portable N64. NUS-CPU-01 is a very early CPU revision, and the early revisions produce a considerably larger amount of heat than the later revisions.
If this unit was actually meant to be used at all, there would definitely be heatsinking, and knowing Nintendo, plenty of RF shielding as well. Placing unprotected PCBs anywhere near plexiglass is a bad idea as the plexi can accumulate static electricity, and I know for a fact how easily one can fry a N64 motherboard.

Definitely appears someone got ahold of a launch-era unit and ripped the motherboard out, sticking it in a plexiglass case. And it's not a dev unit. If it was real it would be a prototype.

I sure wish he would take better pics so I could compare the IC / component layout.

Could that be just a demo unit? To show the inside of N64?
