Sorry to bump this with bad news but I thought I'd inform you guys that the DC was "lost" in the mail.
If anyone (maybe from .pl to save shipping costs) has a spare DC he'd like to donate for this feel free to contact DRX, otherwise I'll test and send out another one once I'm done with my taxes in a few days.

 

Watch you guys get this thing dumped and find out it's just a prank tech demo written by some guy at SEGA.

But wasn't there a time when people here were actually interested in getting unreleased games released?!

But is ECCO II really a game ? I`ve seen video at youtube and it seems like just tech demo . Files uploaded before with broken boot binary dont cantain sounds and music , only some levels ...

 

if its a real game and not a tech demo then i'd be happy to chip in 30 dollars so that he can buy a dreamcast off ebay, just in case there's another problem!

How does one explode a DreamCast?

 

Pack it with some C4 and run it inside a cardboard box in the sun.

 

At a guess I'd say it was an American or Japanese Dreamcast plugged into a European mains socket - That's the only way I know of that you can blow up a DC console... there just isn't any other way, unless of course (as pointed out above) you pack it with explosives

There's a dump from a dev HDD with corrupted binaries somewhere. You got to see some textures files but it's unplayable unless someone randomly achieve to type a compatible executable file ...

DRX, however, got a working copy of a gd-r ...
I haven't hear from him for a long time!
