ECCO II - Sentinels of the Universe

Jaws Unleashed started life as an Ecco title before evolving into Sole Predator and then having that license swapped for Jaws.

Came out last year for PC, PS2 and Xbox.

Appaloosa dev'd it, would explain why it started out as such. Wonder if Sentinals was the base?

 

Ecco: Defender Of The Future (the first DC title) WAS eventually released for the PS2. It was a sloppy port from what I understand, much like other DC to PS2 ports. The glitch ridden Grandia II port comes to mind...

i have contaceted the seller to see if he will sell me a copy and then i will make it self boot to work on retail dc and that word be crazy but for doliphin lovers it will be cool

 

well I'd love to see more from that ecco 2, any news on contacting the seller?

 

I already contacted him some time ago.

He told me he lend the disc to a friend to try to sell it and that it got lost somehow.

so is this really just a ecco 1-preview build? people's comments at the youtubevideo state that it was just an early build of ecco 1, nothing really behind "ecco 2"... whats the big deal now?

and why would appaloosa bother about an old dreamcast-game being leaked to the net (as the owner of this preview build promised to do back then)? both sega's dreamcast publishing divisions as well as appaloosa as well as dreamcast itself are defunct, there's more behind this lame excuse and overall weird current state of things.

i guess this sony guy who leaked manhunt 2 for ps2 was/is in big trouble for doing that, but leaking or selling a supposedly ecco 2-game for the defunct dreamcast is a completely different matter.. i dont think that legal matters where involved here.
