Educate me- why is PS3 fat with firmware 3.66 (or earlier) popular?

I said to use WINE because it was said the only reason to have windows would be to run diabloII or starcraft. That's why I gave a better solution.

 

Sorry I don't understand what you mean there. You said to "use wine or even better a real pc", thus implying to use wine on the ps3 which is impossible, without a x86 emu, because of what I said in the post right after yours. If you felt my tone was rude on that post sorry, it was not meant at all. I'm no native speaker, but I kinda improved my english around here, yet there can still be misinterpretations.

Though it's a common misconception to think wine works on arm cpus, and since they're "taking over the world" it'll be a more and more common misconception, no shame at all.

 

I sold my 3.41FW fat to a person up here at my work and I know they wanted it just for piracy, and honestly I just don't care what they used it for. I considered keeping it but after looking over the homebrew options I just realized there wasn't a whole lot that interested me. Plus I already have a Wii that can do homebrew. plus a Xbox, plus a mini PC connected to my TV.
